In 2035, the Irish Government will invest in a new AI technology called Sonas. Sonas will replace GDP, and acts as a new wealth system based and measured off the populations happiness. Sonas is installed into each household around the country. It collects data by scanning citizens data anonymously through the eye using advanced iridology. This will provide an overall accurate understanding of a persons health, happiness, and well-being.
We took inspiration from the eyes iris and colours to represent data collection and reconfiguration. As the data moves and shapes, it takes in the the calculated happiness of the individual to give accurate results.

As this was a speculative project, we imagined the data to hologram out and become immersive. You can interact with the sonas device, as well as it being portable and placed on multiple surfaces.
As this project connects the nation through happiness, we imagined there would be promotion and advertising around the country to not only remind people to scan but the importance of the system.
